Questions, answered straight
Will they know I'm checking?
No. FollowBuster only reads public information. Nothing is liked, followed or viewed from your account, and Instagram doesn't notify anyone.
Do I need their password, or mine?
Neither. You only type their username. We never ask for any Instagram password.
Does it work on private accounts?
No. Instagram only shows who a private account follows to its approved followers, so no app can see it. Anyone who says otherwise is guessing.
How do you know when they followed someone?
We save a snapshot of everyone they follow and check again every day. When a new name appears, we show the window it happened in, like "followed between Oct 14 and Oct 15". Instagram doesn't publish exact follow times, so that's as precise as anyone can honestly be.
Can I see who they followed before I started?
Partly. Right away you get their full current following list, in the order Instagram shows it, and the accounts at the top are usually their most recent follows (Instagram doesn't guarantee that order, so treat it as a hint). Dated new follows and unfollows start from tomorrow, after our first daily check.
How often do you check?
Once a day, automatically. You can also tap "Check now" once a day per account.
Which accounts can I track?
Up to 3 public accounts that follow up to 2,000 accounts each. That covers almost every personal account. New followers are tracked for accounts with up to 50,000 followers (bigger accounts gain fans all day, so that list would only be noise).
Does it work on TikTok?
Yes, for public TikTok accounts, added inside the app. TikTok doesn't show who someone follows to any app, only how many, so for TikTok we show their new followers by name, every change in how many accounts they follow, new videos and profile changes, all dated. For the names of new follows, track their Instagram.
How much does it cost?

Can I see who unfollowed me?
Yes. Download the free "Followers and following" export from your own Instagram and drop it in. We'll show who unfollowed you, who doesn't follow back, and your fans. Your file is read in your browser.
Can I see who viewed their profile or stories?
No, and no app can. Instagram doesn't share that with anyone. We'll never pretend otherwise.
